UMANG Mobile App

UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is envisaged to make e-governance.
It is developed by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), GoI and National e-Governance Division (NeGD), GoI to drive Mobile Governance in India.
It enables users to access all government services through a single mobile interface.
Users do not need to install different mobile apps to avail various government services.
Services under e-District portal will be on-boarded on UMANG platform.
A GO dated 19th April 2018 for on-boarding of departmental services on UMANG Mobile App has been issued by Chief Secretary, GoUP to all Additional Chief Secretaries/ Principal Secretaries/ Secretaries
Integration of e-District Services with UMANG App is under process, Currently 6 services i.e Caste, Income, Domicile etc are integrated with UMANG Mobile APP.
A one day workshop on “UMANG” platform has been organized on 29.12.2018.
Services under e-District portal will be on-boarded on UMANG platform.
