  • UPSDC became Go-live on 06.08.2012. SDC is envisaged to establish a robust infrastructure to enable the Government to deliver the services quickly and effectively to its stakeholders.
  • UPSDC went live on 06.08.2012. It was established with the vision of creating a robust IT infrastructure capable of hosting government websites, portals, and databases on a unified platform to efficiently deliver services to citizens and stakeholders. Serving as a core infrastructure, UPSDC consolidates services, applications, and infrastructure to facilitate the electronic delivery of G2G, G2C, and G2B services.
  • Various state departments can leverage this common infrastructure, leading to seamless integration and efficient management, ensuring high availability of computing resources in a cloud-enabled environment.
  • UPSDC operates a Tier 3 Data Centre with a minimum uptime of 99.741% and adheres to international industry best practices, holding certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 20000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001. Currently, it hosts over 250 services/websites from 61 departments. UPSDC boasts dual Internet Service Provider connectivity and offers secure storage and backup facilities.
  • In terms of power backup capacity, UPSDC is well-equipped with two transformers of 2200 KVA each, three generators of 1250 KVA each, and two modular UPS systems of 1200 KVA each.
  • Due to increasing demand from various departments, ongoing enhancements to UPSDC are in progress.
